Hooome Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of SaLaDa Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Takuya Sato), will open the milestone 20th store of "mipig cafe," where visitors can enjoy interacting with micro pigs, in Yokohama's Chinatown, Kanagawa Prefecture in late September 2025. Additionally, a new store is scheduled to open in mid-October at "Interpark Shopping Village," a large shopping complex in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture.
"mipig cafe" operates under the mission of "with pig," providing special healing moments spent together with micro pigs. Customers can not only enjoy interacting with the pigs at the cafe but also receive free consultations about welcoming micro pigs born at their own farm as family members. The cafe aims to create a space where people can feel closer to living with micro pigs as new companion animals alongside dogs and cats.
These new openings represent expansion into two distinctive locations: Yokohama's Chinatown, a tourist destination visited by many people from Japan and abroad, and Interpark Shopping Village, a popular commercial facility rooted in the local community. This expansion allows them to deliver encounters with micro pigs and healing experiences to even more customers.
To commemorate the opening of the 20th store, a special adoption campaign exclusive to the Yokohama Chinatown store will be implemented. The official opening date, store details, and campaign information will be announced once finalized.
