Eikoh Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Sumida-ku, Tokyo) announces the sequential release of its original Monchhichi "Interior Mini Figures" at Can Do and other 100 yen shops and fancy stores.
About Monchhichi
Monchhichi is an adorable plush toy released by Sekiguchi in 1974, featuring its signature thumb-sucking pose and charming freckles. With its innovative design combining a plush body with soft vinyl face, hands, and feet, Monchhichi sparked an explosive boom upon its release. The following year, exports began overseas, and Monchhichi became a beloved character worldwide.
After a temporary sales halt from 1985 (except in Paris), Monchhichi was re-released in 1996 due to popular demand from fans. Adapting to changing times, Monchhichi has sold over 70 million units cumulatively across more than 30 countries since its 1974 debut.
Loved by fans worldwide, Monchhichi celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2024.

About "Interior Mini Figures (InMini)"
Launched in August 2020, this is Eikoh's original mini figure series.
