Ishikawa Prefecture will hold "Notomotto MARCHE TOKYO" (のともっとMARCHE TOKYO), a sales event for Ishikawa products to support the recovery of the Noto region, on Friday, November 13, 2026. The venue is HANASAKA SQUARE on the B1 floor of YANMAR TOKYO in Yaesu, Tokyo, and 22 producers and others from Ishikawa Prefecture will take part.
The Noto region was hit hard by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake (能登半島地震) and Okunoto heavy rain (奥能登豪雨), and by heavy rain this August centered on the central Noto area (中能登地区). With the encouragement and support of many people, the region is moving step by step toward recovery and reconstruction. The prefecture says that to move forward faster and more strongly, it is important for people across Japan to learn "more" ("motto") about Noto and to feel Noto's charms "more" firsthand.
For that reason, Ishikawa Prefecture has held "Notomotto MARCHE" (のともっとMARCHE) since fiscal 2024. This year, on Friday, November 13, 22 producers and others from Ishikawa Prefecture will set up in Yaesu, Tokyo, selling a variety of Ishikawa agricultural, forestry and fishery products and processed goods. They include "Noto vegetables" (能登野菜), "Noto beef" (能登牛), "Noto salt" (能登の塩), and "船凍するめいか," squid that is flash-frozen on board right after being caught.

Promotion of Toki-Certified Rice
In May this year, Japanese crested ibis (toki) were released in Noto, the first release on Honshu. Following this release, a certification system for rice cultivation was created to make the area easier for toki to live in and to advance the branding of the rice. In addition to reducing chemical fertilizers and pesticides, the system requires efforts to create feeding grounds for toki. Toki-certified rice went on sale in September, and the event will also promote it.
