Oiso Long Beach, located about an hour from central Tokyo in Oiso, Kanagawa, opens for its 2026 summer season on July 4 (Saturday) and runs through September 13 (Sunday) — a total of 72 days. The pool resort stretches along approximately 1 km of Sagami Bay coastline and has become a popular "microtourism" destination for those seeking a resort experience close to the city.

New for 2026: Mist Cooling Spots
In response to intensifying summer heat in recent years, Oiso Long Beach is installing new mist cooling stations across the grounds this season. The mist system provides relief between swims, helping guests stay comfortable on the hottest days.
Shaded rest areas with good airflow are also maintained throughout the resort, and regular hydration reminders are broadcast over the PA system. Lifeguard patrols have been strengthened as part of the ongoing commitment to guest safety.
