Miyako Resort Shima Bayside Terrace, located in Shima City, Mie Prefecture, is set to open its summer resort pool for a limited run from Saturday, July 4, to Thursday, September 24, 2026. Hotel guests can enjoy the daytime pool free of charge during their stay.
The outdoor pool in front of the hotel looks out over the sea, offering sweeping views of the blue ocean and sky that capture the open-air feeling of a resort. During the day, the shimmering pool creates a refreshing seaside atmosphere, while in the evening the water is transformed by a magical illumination for a night pool experience. A poolside bar will also be available, serving tropical cocktails and a variety of other drinks and light snacks.
From Saturday, July 18, to Monday, August 31, 2026, the BBQ restaurant "Libera," located adjacent to the pool, will also be open. The cottage-style restaurant by the poolside offers a relaxed setting to enjoy seafood and meat freely on the grill.

- On the final day (September 24), the pool closes at 12:00 PM.
