OMO Kansai Airport (おも) by Hoshino Resorts, located in Rinku Town, Izumisano City, Osaka, is hosting the "Yonayone Neighborhood Beer Garden" for the first time from July 23 (Thursday) to October 31 (Saturday), 2026. The event takes place at the hotel's 22nd-floor rooftop bar, よなよなムーンウォーク (YONA YONA MOON WALK), which overlooks Osaka Bay — one of Japan's Top 100 Sunset Spots.
The event marks the first collaboration between OMO Kansai Airport and the newly opening Yoho Brewing Osaka Brewery "よなよなビアライズ" (Yonayone BeerRise), a craft brewery opening in Rinku Town on July 23, 2026. The partnership focuses on local revitalization and brings the neighborhood's flavors to the hotel's rooftop.
Why This Beer Garden Came About
OMO Kansai Airport is located in Izumisano City's Rinku Town, where in June 2026 a group of 16 local businesses and organizations — including the city, transportation and commercial facilities, lodging, restaurants, and economic groups — jointly created a "Town-Building Vision Map." The hotel participated in this initiative and teamed up with the soon-to-open Yonayone BeerRise to develop this event.
Annual passenger numbers at Rinku Town Station (about 5.2 million) are roughly one-third of those at the neighboring Kansai Airport Station (about 15.7 million), making it an urgent priority to draw more visitors to the area. The hotel also noted that around 60% of its guests arrive after 6 PM, so the event is designed to let travelers fully experience the charms of Izumisano — even on the evening before an early flight.
Three Highlights of the Yonayone Neighborhood Beer Garden
1. Neighborhood Snack Cart — An In-Flight Meal Cart Stocked with Local Delicacies
The rooftop bar will feature a "Gokinjo Otsumami Cart" (Neighborhood Snack Cart) styled after an in-flight meal trolley, offering more than 10 types of locally sourced snacks that pair well with craft beer. Among the standout combinations selected together with Yoho Brewing is azemouchi (canned) from Muka Shin, a Japanese and Western confectionery shop established in 1892, paired with the craft beer "正気のサタン" — a novel pairing that brings together Izumisano tradition and contemporary brewing.

Azemouchi is a traditional Senshu-style mochi filled with edamame paste, named for the beans harvested along rice paddy ridges (aze) and historically made around festival time.
2. Neighborhood Snack Beer Flight — A Tasting Set on an Izumisano-Shaped Plate
The "Gokinjo Otsumami Beer Flight" offers a curated set of three locally sourced snacks paired with three complementary craft beers, priced at ¥2,500 (tax included). The set is presented on a plate shaped like the outline of Izumisano City and comes with a cutlery rest styled after Kansai International Airport. Mini 150 ml glasses of craft beer make it easy to compare and enjoy the flavors.

The three pairings are:
Gaccho (ガッチョ) karaage, salted lemon flavor × YONA YONA ALE — The salt and citrus of the fried gaccho complement the richness, bitterness, and gentle sweetness of YONA YONA ALE for a well-balanced combination.
(Gaccho is a fish about 10–20 cm long, commonly caught in Osaka Bay, whose name comes from the way it aggressively bites at bait.)Mizunasu (water eggplant) pickles Western-style MIX × 裏通りのドンダバダ — The bright, lemon-tinged pickled eggplant is rounded out by the umami and richness of 裏通りのドンダバダ, softening the acidity.
Azemouchi (canned) × 正気のサタン — The sweetness of the edamame paste, combined with the clean, refreshing character of 正気のサタン, creates a gentle sweetness with lingering edamame notes.
3. Beat the Heat at Happy Hour — Craft Beer at 30% Off from a 75-Meter Vantage Point
The rooftop bar hosts a happy hour from 5 PM to 7 PM every day of the event. At 75 meters above ground, the terrace overlooks Osaka Bay — recognized among Japan's Top 100 Sunsets — while sea breezes provide a welcome respite from the summer heat. Guests can watch the sky transition from a golden dusk to night.
During happy hour, regular-size draft craft beer is available at 30% off the standard price.
