A new afternoon tea has arrived, featuring sweets and savories where the delicacy of strawberries and the depth of matcha create a harmonious blend of Western and Japanese flavors.
The chocolate sculpture depicts a bear standing in a strawberry field, with an adorable "strawberry milk-colored" bear holding a flower. Next to it sits a glass tiramisu, layering matcha sponge, mascarpone cream, and strawberry jam, topped with fluffy whipped cream to showcase beautiful strata. The selection also includes eye-catching pink and green two-tone macarons, an opera cake weaving matcha and white chocolate, and rich terrine chocolat made with abundant matcha. Other highlights include rosé sparkling wine jelly with fresh strawberries offering a refreshing taste and crisp acidity, and tart chocolat combining matcha tart with strawberry chocolate cream.
The savory selection features Japanese-inspired items such as prosciutto with cottage cheese accented with strawberry and matcha aromas, cha-soba inari with sweet-and-savory mitarashi-style sauce, and fish fry with matcha and pickled shiba-flavored tartar sauce.
Enjoy a luxurious and relaxing teatime with this afternoon tea brimming with the charms of strawberries and matcha.
