Shimoda Prince Hotel Announces Cherry Blossom Viewing Accommodation Plan Featuring Early-Blooming Kawazu-zakura on the Izu Peninsula

Shimoda Prince Hotel (located at 1547-1 Shirahama, Shimoda City, Shizuoka Prefecture; General Manager: Toshihito Shirai) is launching a special dinner and accommodation plan ahead of the local early spring cherry blossom events: the "Kawazu-zakura Festival" and the "Minami no Sakura to Nanohana Festival."

Kawazu Town and Minami-Izu Town, both adjacent to Shimoda City, are renowned nationwide for their Kawazu-zakura cherry blossoms. These cherry blossoms bloom early, typically in early February, allowing visitors to enjoy cherry blossom viewing ahead of the traditional season. The "Kawazu-zakura Festival" will be held from February 7 to March 8, while the "Minami no Sakura to Nanohana Festival" will take place from February 1 to March 10. Located between these two towns, Shimoda Prince Hotel has prepared a creative Japanese-Western course dinner featuring Shimoda's golden eye snapper and other Shizuoka Prefecture ingredients, designed to visually evoke the cherry blossom season.

Guests can use the hotel as a base to enjoy the cherry blossoms in both Kawazu Town and Minami-Izu Town, while experiencing the arrival of spring in Izu through the hotel's special cherry blossom dinner course.
