To coincide with the Suica's Penguin Summer Festival, JR East Cross Station's Foods Company is launching the Suica's Penguin Chicken Nori Bento from Friday, July 24.
Produced by Orange Page, this seventh installment of the Suica's Penguin bento series once again teams up with the long-selling ekiben Chicken Bento. The package features Suica's Penguin dressed up in a chef's hat and bow tie, paired with a varied, satisfying lineup of dishes.
Tomato-flavored rice is topped with two sheets of nori printed with Suica's Penguin and scrambled egg. The nori comes in four different Suica's Penguin expressions, so which design is inside is a surprise until the box is opened. Alongside the classic fried chicken, the bento includes fish sausage — one of Suica's Penguin's favorite foods — deep-fried isobe-age style with nori, plus white fish fry and yakisoba, bringing together the appeal of both a chicken bento and a nori bento in one hearty meal.
The bento also comes with resin Suica's Penguin-design chopsticks available only with this product, giving fans something to keep enjoying after the meal.
