Sunshine City Prince Hotel (Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo) will be hosting the "Melon & Cherry Sweets Buffet" at its Cafe & Dining Chef's Palette from May 16 (Saturday) to July 16 (Thursday), 2026. The event celebrates the early summer season's best fruits — the refreshingly sweet green-flesh melon and the tart Griotte cherry — presented across a lineup of sweets and savory dishes.

Guests can enjoy approximately 20 colorful sweets including tarts, mousses, and roll cakes built around these two fruits.

Among the sweets highlights, the patissiers' top picks are the Melon Pan Shu — melon-flavored cream wrapped in a flaky, crispy pastry — and the Cherry Choco Macaron, which pairs the sweetness of chocolate with the pleasant tartness of Griotte cherries.

Savory dishes — about 10 items — are also on offer. These include a colorful Seafood Pilaf packed with mussels, squid, and other seafood, as well as a penne dish tossed with melon and prosciutto. The full menu features more than 30 items in total.
