Sushimaru Dogo Introduces "Ehime Local Sake Server" for One-Coin Tastings

Sushimaru Dogo, located in Matsuyama's historic Dogo hot spring district in Ehime Prefecture, has introduced a new "Ehime Local Sake Server," allowing guests to sample locally produced sake for just ¥500 per glass — the price of a single coin.

The service is open to out-of-prefecture visitors exploring the Dogo sightseeing area as well as local residents, offering a relaxed way to discover Ehime's sake culture.

Tasting Ehime's Local Sake with Ease

The "Ehime Local Sake Server" features a self-pour format: guests serve themselves directly from a dedicated server, making it simple to taste a little of each label or find the right pairing for a meal.

The current lineup includes:

  • Ishizuchi Murokajunmai
  • Yukisuzume Jun'on Tokubetsu Junmai Ginjo
  • Yamatan Masamune
  • Umenishiki Chokara-sen

Spanning both sweeter and drier profiles, the selection is well-suited for first-time sake drinkers as well as those already familiar with Japanese rice wine.
