About Red King

A monster inhabiting Tatara Island. Its weapons are superhuman strength and rock attacks. The strongest monster on Tatara Island.

With its monstrous strength, it threw rocks in all directions, tormenting the members of the Science Special Search Party and taking the life of Pigmon.

It engaged in hand-to-hand combat with Ultraman but was ultimately defeated when thrown to the ground with a shoulder throw.

Artist TOUMA

Studied character design at a game company for approximately 10 years.

Began activities as a figure artist in 2001.

Has held solo exhibitions and autograph sessions not only in Japan but also in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United States. Has handled commercialization of many famous characters both domestically and internationally.

Currently active in the animation industry as a Modeling Supervisor.

Comment from TOUMA

Red King is one of my favorite Ultra monsters, ranking in my top 10 among those I have great attachment to. I already achieved commercialization of Red King through Gashapon, but 15 years have passed since then, and I thought I could create an even better design than I did back then, so I took on both the redesign and the sofubi prototype. This is a confident work that maintains the low-polygon-style faceted composition while incorporating my TOUMA-style touches. The arm shapes are designed to look like they could lift and carry rocks.
