The New Year Festival includes a Kagami Biraki ceremony on January 2nd and special "Dream Bag" projects where popular artists create one-of-a-kind artworks. ■Dassai BAR (Paid Tasting Session)
A paid tasting featuring three Dassai sake varieties by the glass, including varieties not normally available. A special lineup for three days only.

Gathering of "Traditional" and "Contemporary" Folk Toys
Folk toys have been cherished for centuries as good luck charms and talismans. This event brings together "traditional" folk toys from across Japan, each with its own story, as well as "contemporary" folk toys including art pieces by Sodeyama Kahoko inspired by folk toys and new works by papier-mâché craftsman Matsuzaki Daisuke.

Remade Daruma from Vintage Clothing and Deadstock Fabrics
The Forever ever project, which proposes items to cherish across generations, remakes vintage clothing and deadstock fabrics into daruma dolls. Based on traditional daruma from Takasaki's Imai Daruma brand, these were created in collaboration with Mikazuki Shoten, a coffee stand in Naoshima.

ISETAN Kimono × Joshibi 2026
An annual collaboration between Isetan Shinjuku Kimono Department and Joshibi University of Art and Design's Craft Department, held since 2019. The Craft Department includes five fields: "dyeing, weaving, embroidery, ceramics, and glass," bringing together current students and young artists who are the next generation of craft creators.
