Mizuno is bringing a new spikeless golf shoe series, "MIZUNO NEO IMPACT," to all Mizuno golf retailers, Mizuno directly-managed stores, and the Mizuno official online shop from September 18, 2026, built to pursue grip performance and stability during play.
Two models, 51GM268101 and 51GQ269101, will release earlier, on September 4.
The golf shoe market has recently seen growing demand for high-performance spikeless models that combine comfort with strong swing stability and grip. At the same time, many golfers still feel their footing slip on slopes or wet turf, so shoes need to deliver both comfort and performance.
The "MIZUNO NEO IMPACT" series brings together technology developed across baseball, running, volleyball, and other sports. Based on Mizuno's proprietary analysis method, the "Data Shower Sole Concept," the new sole design optimizes stud placement and sole shape, and pairs with Mizuno's own high-rebound material, "MIZUNO ENERZY," to deliver strong grip, cushioning, and stability.
The series has a sales target of 35,000 pairs in its first year on the market.
Features of "MIZUNO NEO IMPACT"
A high-grip sole design built on the "Data Shower Sole Concept"
The sole uses Mizuno's proprietary "Data Shower Sole Concept," the same development method applied to its baseball spikes, analyzing swing motion in increments of 1/300 of a second and the shearing force applied to the sole of the foot to design stud placement and sole shape for each phase of the swing.
Inner forefoot (red in the diagram): This area bears the most weight around the ball of the foot, so it is designed to grip in every direction to support the whole swing from the downswing through impact.
Outer forefoot (light blue in the diagram): Weight shifts here from impact through the follow-through, so it grips against slipping from the toes toward the outer edge, supporting side-to-side balance.
Outer heel (blue in the diagram): Designed with stronger front-to-back grip to improve stability in the second half of the swing and guard against sudden slipping.
Center heel (green in the diagram): Designed with stronger side-to-side grip to reduce foot movement.

Mizuno's proprietary "MIZUNO ENERZY" material
The midsole uses "MIZUNO ENERZY," Mizuno's proprietary high-rebound material also used in its running shoes and volleyball shoes. The insole adds the "MIZUNO ENERZY XP" insole, improving cushioning by about 24% in the forefoot and about 15% in the heel compared with the "HAZARD ENERZY" golf shoe, while rebound improves by about 30% in both the forefoot and heel, balancing softness with responsiveness. (Effects and how they feel can vary depending on the shoe's construction; rebound figures compare vertical compression.)
