Mos Food Services, Inc., the company operating Mos Burger (President: Eisuke Nakamura, Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo), will launch the "Garlic Tomato Chicken Tatsuta Burger with Domestic Cream Cheese" for a limited time from January 28 (Wednesday), 2026 to mid-March at Mos Burger locations nationwide (excluding some stores). Simultaneously, the "Japanese-Style Umami Chicken Tatsuta Burger with Wedged Lemon" will also be released.
Mos Burger has been selling its Japan-born "Chicken Tatsuta Burger" as a limited-time offering every year since 2022. In addition to the standard "Japanese-Style Umami Chicken Tatsuta Burger," a variation product has been simultaneously released since 2023, with the series selling over 11 million units cumulatively to date.
For the fifth year, Mos Burger is launching a new "Garlic Tomato Chicken Tatsuta Burger with Domestic Cream Cheese" featuring a rich, appetite-stimulating flavor with plenty of garlic. The chicken tatsuta is paired with a tomato-based sauce loaded with garlic and domestic cream cheese. The garlic is added to the sauce in various forms—minced, pureed, and more—ensuring that the aroma and umami persist until the last bite.
Simultaneously, the "Japanese-Style Umami Chicken Tatsuta Burger with Wedged Lemon" will be released. This version uses Kagoshima-produced black vinegar and processed brown sugar, suppressing the sharp acidity typical of vinegar while bringing out the sweetness of brown sugar and the umami of the Japanese-style sauce. Squeezing lemon while eating allows customers to enjoy flavor variations and a refreshing finish. By offering two types of chicken tatsuta burgers with different flavor profiles—rich and refreshing—customers can choose their preferred option based on their mood.
Garlic Tomato Chicken Tatsuta Burger with Domestic Cream Cheese (¥490) *New Product
On the bottom bun spread with half-mayo-type sauce, crispy chicken tatsuta made with domestic chicken breast, garlic tomato sauce, and cabbage are layered, then topped with another layer of garlic tomato sauce and domestic cream cheese. Tomatoes pair well with cheese, and the fresh acidity of the cream cheese synergizes with the tomato's acidity and sweetness to create a well-balanced dish. Additionally, the garlic tomato sauce uses pureed and minced garlic, while the cream cheese is also blended with garlic powder. By using various forms of garlic, the burger is designed to deliver rich garlic aroma and deep flavor until the very last bite.
*Cheese is heat-processed at the factory.

Japanese-Style Umami Chicken Tatsuta Burger with Wedged Lemon (¥470)
Chicken tatsuta is paired with black vinegar umami sauce and cabbage, served with lemon wedges. The Japanese-style umami sauce uses Kagoshima-produced black vinegar and processed brown sugar, with the sugar softening the typical sharpness of vinegar to create a more approachable flavor. The combination of crispy, light, and juicy chicken tatsuta with the black vinegar-flavored Japanese-style umami sauce is outstanding. Customers can squeeze the wedged lemon to adjust the acidity to their liking while enjoying the burger.
*Contains Kagoshima-produced black vinegar.
