Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima to Hold Pasta Fair Featuring Four Original Pasta Dishes

Dining Luore, the 1st-floor restaurant at Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima (Motomachi, Naka-ku, Hiroshima City), is holding a Pasta Fair featuring four original pasta dishes, for a limited time from Thursday, October 1, 2026, through Tuesday, January 12, 2027.

Dining Luore is an all-day dining venue offering a lunch and dinner buffet with live-kitchen cooking, seasonal dishes, and roughly 15 kinds of sweets, along with a substantial a la carte menu; it is open from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM for a la carte dining and cafe visits alike. Starting Thursday, October 1, four original pasta dishes join the a la carte lineup as a new Pasta Fair.

Chef Masuhara's top pick among them is the creamy pasta with conger eel and Kure Yamato shiitake mushroom, fragrant with fresh sansho pepper. Fragrant sansho pepper and the savoriness of anchovy provide an accent, finished with a topping of refreshing mitsuba (Japanese wild parsley). The Kure Yamato shiitake mushrooms used are known for their rich aroma, deep sweetness, and concentrated flavor. Despite being a cream sauce, the skillful use of Japanese ingredients gives the dish a light finish that stays enjoyable to the last bite.

Also featured is a revival of the squid and tarako (cod roe) spaghetti, served 23 years ago at Coffee House Corbeille, the predecessor of Dining Luore. Chef Masuhara, who was moved by this dish when he joined the hotel, has recreated it using the original recipe of the time. Guests are invited to savor this nostalgic flavor, long loved by past guests, on this occasion.

There is also a seafood bouillabaisse-style pasta, combining a tomato-based sauce with fumet de poisson carefully drawn from fish bones, generously featuring seafood such as crab claw, shrimp, clams, and squid. It is a deep, flavorful dish with the rich aroma of saffron spreading throughout.

Guests are invited to enjoy all four pasta dishes, each reflecting the chef's careful attention, alongside the rich flavors of the season.
