Royal Park Hotel (2-1-1 Kakigara-cho, Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo; General Manager: Koichi Ozawa) is holding a "Halloween Fair" for a limited time from October 1 (Thursday) to October 31 (Saturday), 2026. Three venues across the hotel will each serve their own Halloween-themed afternoon tea: Lobby Lounge "Fontaine" on the 1st floor introduces the "Sweet Potato and Chestnut Halloween Afternoon Tea," Chinese restaurant "Keikaen" in the basement offers the "Halloween Chinese Afternoon Tea," and main bar "Royal Scots" in the basement serves the "Halloween Twilight Afternoon Tea."
Sweet Potato and Chestnut Halloween Afternoon Tea / Lobby Lounge "Fontaine" (1F)
Built around the deep, comforting flavors of sweet potato and chestnut, this afternoon tea is dressed up with playful Halloween visuals throughout.
The welcome drink is "Vampire Blood," whose deep mango-and-grape hues set an eerily festive tone from the first sip. A chocolate showpiece combining a black cat, a moon, and a pumpkin — finished with silver leaf for a dreamlike nighttime shimmer — anchors the sweets selection.
Alongside it are a ghost-shaped cookie sandwich filled with a rich chestnut buttercream, and a refreshing glass dessert layering a smooth purple sweet potato and coconut mousse with raspberry gelée. Also on the stand: a cinnamon- and vanilla-scented yokan made with Japanese chestnut and dried fruit; a triangular chocolate pie wrapped around a whole candied chestnut; a "witch's broom" tart layering sweet potato buttercream and custard beneath a pastry broom garnish; and a sweet potato mont blanc finished with whipped cream "bandages" to resemble a mummy.
Savory items include gnocchi in a rich pumpkin-and-cheese sauce, a fish slider with tartar sauce that brings out the umami of white fish, and arancini made with squid-ink butter rice. A side of sweet potato fries dusted with kinako (roasted soybean flour) rounds out the spread with a warm, nutty finish.

Halloween Chinese Afternoon Tea / Chinese Restaurant "Keikaen" (B1F)
Keikaen's take on the season brings Halloween imagery to a full spread of Chinese dim sum. The appetizer platter includes an eyeball-inspired whitefish terrine and a broom-shaped pickled daikon among its three dishes.
At the center of the large steamer are sausage rolls disguised as mummies and buns styled as a Frankenstein-costumed panda and piglet — the panda bun filled with sweet red bean paste, the piglet with savory meat filling, for two distinct flavors in one playful presentation.
Surrounding them: pork-filled "monster" shumai topped with a bright yellow eyeball, pumpkin steamed dumplings shaped like descending bats, shrimp-filled "ghost" shumai with mischievous expressions, and squid steamed dumplings modeled after a witch's hat.
The dessert stand continues the theme with a fresh mooncake styled as a jack-o'-lantern, pumpkin pudding topped with spiderweb-patterned chocolate, and blueberry jelly decorated with candy eyeballs.

Halloween Twilight Afternoon Tea — Three Choices of Main Dish and a Pâtissier's Dessert Plate / Main Bar "Royal Scots" (B1F)
Themed around an adult take on Halloween excitement, this afternoon tea opens with an original sparkling cocktail toast paired with an amuse-bouche to set the mood.
The top tier of the stand pairs a salad combining the sweetness of sweet potato, the tang of cream cheese, and the saltiness of prosciutto with deviled eggs made from egg yolk and mayonnaise. The middle tier offers a cream soup built around the natural sweetness of pumpkin, alongside a cake salé worked through with pumpkin and bacon that pairs well with drinks. On the bottom tier, a black-and-red capellini finished with squid ink and tomato sauce sits beside an open sandwich topped with an orange salmon fry.
For the main course, guests choose from three options: Wagyu roast beef, beef fillet steak, or seafood braise. Dessert arrives on a Halloween-decorated plate featuring a classic shortcake, a smooth custard pudding, and a chestnut cream tart.
Drinks include Halloween-inspired cocktails such as Bloody Mary, Black Velvet, and El Diablo alongside the bar's regular lineup — short cocktails like the Gimlet or the X.Y.Z. pair especially well with the pumpkin and sweet potato savories.
