Lobby Lounge "Fontaine" at Sendai Royal Park Hotel (Izumi Ward, Sendai) will offer a summer afternoon tea set from July 6 (Monday) to August 31 (Monday), 2026. The set showcases peaches sourced from "Kenjou Momo no Sato" in Kori Town, Fukushima Prefecture, and honey from EIGHT CROWNS in Tomiya, Miyagi Prefecture. Guests can enjoy an elegant tea time while taking in views of the sunlit summer garden.

Kenjou Momo no Sato Peach and EIGHT CROWNS Summer Fruits Afternoon Tea Set

The centerpiece of the sweets is a peach parfait built on a yogurt mousse base, with aronia and hibiscus sauce added for bright acidity. Layers of peach compote — crafted to be silky soft — draw out a depth of sweetness that differs from fresh peach alone. The light, lingering flavor balances the refreshing quality of the yogurt with the natural sweetness of the fruit.

A pie tart made with fresh peach is paired with smooth custard cream in a crispy pastry shell. Making its debut this season, a fresh dark chocolate truffle encloses EIGHT CROWNS' WILDFLOWER TRADITIONAL MEAD — a honey mead brewed from honey, water, and yeast — delivering a gentle sweetness, deep richness, and an aromatic finish that fills the palate.

On the savory side, chicken and mascarpone cheese are sandwiched in whole-grain bread with orange jam and roasted walnuts. A second savory pairs mint-and-olive-oil-marinated peach with prosciutto, brought together with a white wine jelly and EIGHT CROWNS honey — a refreshing summer pairing.
