Shinjuku Prince Hotel Presents Five-Cake "Harmony of Christmas" Collection for 2026

Christmas is the season that colors the close of the year, and Shinjuku Prince Hotel, in Tokyo's Kabukicho district, is marking it with reservations opening Thursday, October 1, for its 2026 Christmas Cake Collection. This year's theme, "Harmony of Christmas -- A Holy Night in Harmony," reflects the idea that time spent with loved ones, good food and sweets, and memorable hospitality all come together to make the season special. The hotel is proposing a Christmas experience where people, feelings, and flavors resonate with one another.

The lineup brings together five cakes: "Ensemble Noel," a premium box cake made with Amaou strawberries from Fukuoka Prefecture; "A Gift From Santa Claus," styled after the presents Santa delivers; "Noel Snow Dome," designed to evoke a dreamlike snow globe; "Christmas Harmony Wreath," which takes the shape of a Christmas wreath; and "Anneau de Bonheur," which expresses the bonds between people.

Each cake carries its own character and story in its ingredients and design, while sharing the common theme of "harmony." The collection is meant to add color to Christmas spent with family, friends, or a partner.

Concept

Harmony of Christmas -- A Holy Night in Harmony

Christmas is shaped by more than festive decor and a special meal.

Time spent gathered around the table with loved ones. Moments filled with smiles. Gifts chosen with care.

Open the box, finished with a delicate relief pattern, and strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries appear in a colorful arrangement inside. The shortcake layers combine fresh cream with white chocolate and mascarpone cream for a three-layer construction. Made with Amaou strawberries from Fukuoka Prefecture, it lets each ingredient's flavor come together in a refined harmony. Even the rose and leaf decorations are rendered in chocolate, making it a centerpiece for a special holy night.

A Gift From Santa Claus

A playful, Christmas-only cake shaped like Santa Claus. Inside are seven kinds of petit fours, including an almond blancmange, a tea mousse, a tart styled after a Christmas tree, a raspberry mousse shaped like Santa's hat, and canele. The base uses a strawberry mousse, surrounded by macarons, berries, and dragees for a festive finish. A chocolate base styled after Shinjuku Prince Hotel's red brick adds a signature touch. Combining the fun of opening it up with the fun of tasting each element, it's a fitting centerpiece for a Christmas party.
