From Wednesday, July 1 to Monday, August 31, 2026, ANA Crowne Plaza Okayama (15-1 Ekimotomachi, Kita-ku, Okayama City; General Manager Yusuke Watanabe) serves the twin parfait "Midsummer" (¥3,000, tax and service charge included) at its first-floor restaurant, Casual Dining Urbano. The dessert generously features Muscat of Alexandria grapes from Funao and white peaches from Soja. Through Friday, July 31, serving hours are extended so guests can enjoy the parfait alongside a summer evening.
This popular seasonal parfait lets guests savor both fruits at once: Funao's Muscat of Alexandria grapes, known as the "queen of fruits," and Soja's white peaches, prized for their melt-in-the-mouth flesh and refined sweetness.
This year's version has been refined with a vibrant design inspired by Okayama summers and a layered composition that lets the flavor evolve until the very last bite, drawing out even more of the appeal of these in-season Okayama fruits.
This year also marks the 140th anniversary of Muscat of Alexandria cultivation in Funao, and to celebrate, the hotel is offering a limited-time "Muscat of Alexandria Drink" made with 100% straight juice at restaurants and bars throughout the property.

Grown with care by local producers in a mild climate with good airflow, the grapes are prized for their fragrant aroma and refined sweetness, earning the fruit its nickname "the queen of fruits."

Soja's White Peach
The white peaches used are grown by producers of the JA Hareno-kuni Okayama Soja White Peach Growers' Association, who individually bag each peach by hand as it grows. They're known for their beautiful white color, smooth skin, rich aroma, and melt-in-the-mouth flesh. "Midsummer" uses half a Soja white peach at its peak season; the juicy flesh and gentle sweetness harmonize with the black tea mousse glacé and custard cream, creating a refined, layered flavor in every bite.


White peaches grown in Soja City, Okayama Prefecture, are known nationwide for their juicy, mellow sweetness. ANA Crowne Plaza Okayama uses white peaches carefully grown by producers of the JA Hareno-kuni Okayama Soja Peach Growers' Association.

This year, Funao in Kurashiki City marks the 140th anniversary of the start of Muscat of Alexandria cultivation. To commemorate the milestone, a 100% straight juice made entirely from Muscat of Alexandria grapes was created: "Muscat of Alexandria Juice."
ANA Crowne Plaza Okayama is offering a limited-time "Muscat of Alexandria Drink" made with this 100% straight juice at restaurants and bars throughout the hotel.
The juice was developed from a producer's desire to give new value to fruit that couldn't be shipped to market for eating due to blemishes or damage, delivering the fruit's appeal in the new form of a juice. It contains no additives, and the pulp and natural sediment are deliberately left in to preserve the grape's original fragrant aroma, refined sweetness, and layered flavor.
At the hotel, this 100% straight juice is served on the rocks or mixed with soda. It's a drink that lets guests enjoy the fruit's rich natural flavor while also connecting with a sustainable initiative that creates new value from fruit that couldn't be sold for eating, and with the producers' dedication behind it.
