A special maker's dinner featuring wines from Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg, one of Burgundy's top domaines, will be held at The Thousand Kyoto near Kyoto Station on March 11, 2026. The event will include rare wines, including a double magnum bottle specially prepared for this occasion.

For this special event, Lucie Teillaud Mugneret, daughter of Marie-Christine, will visit from France. The evening will feature five exceptional red wines, including Grand Cru "Echezeaux 2019" and a specially prepared double magnum bottle (3,000ml) of "Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes 2017." These elegant and refined Pinot Noir wines from one of Burgundy's and the world's finest producers will be expertly paired with a one-night-only special Italian course menu prepared by Chef Shibahara of SCALAE, The Thousand Kyoto's Italian restaurant.

About Lucie Teillaud Mugneret

Born in 1985 at the end of the grape harvest season. After completing university studies in agricultural processing engineering, she studied marketing and worked for seven years in the food industry, including positions at Distriborg (organic food company "Bjorg") in Lyon and Paris, and as product manager for soft cheese marketing at Milleret in the Comté region. In 2017, she joined the family domaine and obtained qualifications as a winemaking technician. She currently oversees wine aging and all related cellar work (racking, assemblage, bottling, etc.), and together with her cousin Marion, handles wine sales both in France and internationally.
