All Day Dining Kaza at Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto is holding a Halloween Sweets Lunch & Night Buffet from September 7 (Monday) to October 31 (Saturday), 2026, pairing a Halloween-themed sweets buffet with a wide variety of dishes distinctive to the hotel in a single seating.
Playful Sweets and Halloween Decor
The buffet lines up playful sweets shaped like ghosts, eyeballs, and coffins, alongside dishes built around fall ingredients such as pumpkin, eggplant, and mushroom. The dining room is decorated for the season, with Halloween props and photo spots set up throughout, giving the space the feel of a Halloween party.
A dinner-only Black Cat Cupcake, topped with jet-black cream that turns diners' mouths black with each bite, is a favorite for photos. Other sweets include a Cassis Mousse styled after a coffin, a slightly eerie Pumpkin Pudding, and a Baked Potato-shaped dessert.
A Fall-Inspired Buffet With Over 70 Dishes
Built around the theme of autumn appetite, the lunch and dinner buffet together offer more than 70 dishes. Seasonal fall dishes include Cappellini with Grilled Eggplant and Shiso, Mushroom Potage, and Gnocchi with Pumpkin Cheese Sauce. Guests can also build an original curry, choosing from three arrangement sauces — red, green, and yellow — with toppings such as fried shrimp.
