InterContinental Tokyo Bay Unveils "Chapel de Christmas Night Proposal" Plan for the 2026 Holiday Season

Hotel InterContinental Tokyo Bay (1-16-2 Kaigan, Minato-ku, Tokyo; Head General Manager: Hiroyuki Miyata) is presenting a special way to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime gift to someone important: a proposal. The limited-time "Chapel de Christmas Night Proposal Plan" goes on sale from December 18 to 20 and December 23 to 26, 2026, setting a holy Christmas night in the hotel's own special space.

The plan is built around hotel-quality hospitality and refined surroundings for a more dramatic Christmas evening. The hotel's chapel, dressed in Christmas-exclusive decorations, becomes the stage for the proposal, accented by 21 red roses -- symbolizing "true love" -- finished as sparkling "Jewel Roses," while live violin and organ performances add to the drama of a once-in-a-lifetime moment.

The hotel is wrapped in dazzling decorations

A special Christmas to spend with someone important

Dinner can be enjoyed at any of four restaurants, to suit personal taste. Manhattan pairs sparkling night views of Tokyo Bay with N.Y. Grill French-style aged cuisine; La Provence, styled after a noble villa in medieval Provence, serves modern French dishes built around premium ingredients in a calm, refined setting; Italian Dining Zillion offers a private-room course built around lobster, Ezo abalone, and Saga beef loin, away from other guests' view; and Teppanyaki Takumi presents a Christmas-only special course showcasing the chef's specially selected ingredients and craftsmanship, including a tasting of Kobe beef and kuroge Wagyu.

After dinner, couples move to the chapel -- romantically decorated with candles and roses -- where the proposal takes place before a holy Christmas tree. Once the proposal is made, live music dramatically celebrates the couple.
