From May 1 through June 30, 2026, three restaurants at JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo are hosting a restaurant fair called "Early Summer Garden Breeze," offering dishes made with seasonal ingredients and fresh herbs. The fair spans the hotel's 35th-floor dining venues and the 1st-floor lounge, with each spot presenting its own seasonal menu.

Restaurant & Bar "SKY J" – Garden Breeze Panorama Buffet

On the 35th floor, Restaurant & Bar "SKY J" is running a lunch buffet featuring seasonal vegetables and herbs in a colorful spread of Western dishes and desserts. Guests take in views from 150 meters above the city while dining.

A chef prepares a live cooking dish each month—for May, that means seared menuke fish with a Southeast Asian herb sauce. Sky Restaurant "Tanchou" – Seasonal Double-Tiered Box Lunch

Also on the 35th floor, Sky Restaurant "Tanchou" serves a seasonal lunch set: the "Seasonal Double-Tiered Box – Early Summer Blessings." The two-tiered lacquer box is filled with dishes showcasing early summer ingredients such as gyoja ninniku (wild garlic), scallops, and fava beans, and comes accompanied by a matcha parfait.

The first tier holds nine small dishes including seasonal sashimi, simmered cherry salmon and potato with sansho, poached gyoja ninniku with scallops, and asparagus with jade-colored sauce. The second tier features rolled egg with aosa seaweed, silver salmon, herring with ginger, fava beans, and simmered pork, along with green pea rice and pickles.
