Kobe Portopia Hotel Brings Summer Cold Noodles at Shukeien and Curry Lunch at SOCO

Two of Kobe Portopia Hotel's in-house dining venues are running summer-exclusive menus from June through September 2026. Chinese restaurant Shukeien on the 29th floor is serving a lineup of chilled noodle dishes designed to refresh guests during the hottest months, while dining cafe SOCO on the 2nd floor is offering a curry selection lunch to energize diners for the afternoon.

Shukeien — Summer Cold Noodles

Shukeien's summer noodle menu includes four options, anchored by an elaborate premium course and three à la carte choices.

① Special Premium Cold Noodle Course — ¥14,000 (Minimum 2 guests; reservation required by 5:00 PM, 3 days prior)

  • Chinese mini appetizers (3 varieties)
  • Whole braised shark fin (30g), soy-flavored
  • Tender beef with black vinegar sauce
  • Premium Cold Noodle (lobster, abalone, fresh scallop, jellyfish, salmon roe, caviar; 3 types of noodles)
  • Two Chinese desserts

June-only discount for Oval Point Program members: ¥14,000 → ¥13,000

② Seafood Cold Noodle — ¥3,200
③ Wagyu Stamina Cold Noodle — ¥3,000
④ Tomato Cold Noodle — ¥2,800

② and ③ are served with egg noodles; ④ uses jade (翡翠) noodles.

SOCO's curry selection lunch brings together four distinct curry options, ranging from a premium Kobe Beef curry to a lighter tomato-based Tajima chicken option.

① Kobe Beef Premium Curry — ¥3,900
② Portopia Hotel Signature Black Wagyu Beef Curry — ¥3,200
③ SOCO Special Tajima Chicken Grill and Summer Vegetable Tomato Curry — ¥2,800
④ Slow-Simmered Awaji Onion and "Bokkake" Japanese Dashi Curry — ¥2,800

All options come with a buffet selection of rakkyo (pickled shallots), fukujinzuke, housemade pickles, salad, soup, and a hot drink. A choice of white rice or naan is available, with an "aigake" upgrade (two curries on one plate) for an additional ¥300.
